BitesWeLove - Better Snacking
At BitesWeLove, we have one goal: to help you snack healthier. Hopefully, you already know us from your favorite supermarket, school, or sports club. We develop healthier alternatives to unhealthy snacks that not only satisfy your snack cravings but are also good for you. They contain less fat, salt, and sugar, more fiber and protein, and are 100% plant-based. And all of this without compromising on taste. (Because snacks should, of course, be delicious.)
We've grown rapidly in recent years in both foodservice and retail, but our ambitions are even greater. In the coming years, our focus will be on introducing several new bites and further expanding into retail and foodservice in the Netherlands and various export countries.
We are a team of 10 with a lovely office in the middle of Amsterdam, where we have lunch together every day.
What are you going to do?
As a Sales and Events intern, you'll be the right hand of our account managers and work closely with the marketing team. You'll help find new sales outlets and maintain relationships with existing clients. You'll also coordinate our trade shows, both domestically and internationally. In collaboration with our marketing team, you'll work to increase sales for our clients.
- You proactively contact existing and new sales locations to promote new propositions, increase our visibility in the market, and further expand our points of sale.
- You will be responsible for various business events, such as samplings for larger clients and business fairs at home and abroad, such as the ISM (Cologne) and the Horecava (Amsterdam).
- You'll support our Food Service and Retail Account Managers with their sales activities and accompany them to key account meetings to learn more about account management. This means you'll interact with a wide range of customers.
- You'll handle incoming business inquiries, develop new customers, and process orders in our various systems. You'll ensure sample requests are sent out efficiently and quickly, inspiring potential customers to buy our products.
- You will help us identify new markets and competitors by conducting market analyses and research among existing and new customers.
What we are looking for:
- You are enthusiastic, proactive, positive and you are not easily discouraged
- You have a commercial mindset and would like to learn more about sales and account management
- You have a demonstrable affinity with (healthy) food
- You are following a relevant higher professional education course
- Speaks and writes fluent Dutch & English
- You are looking for a full-time (32-40 hours) internship period of at least 4 months (start date early September)
- You have a driver's license
